Day 1 – The Creator’s breath hovered upon the chaotic watery abyss (the primordial elements) and the Creator declares the existence of “light” (evening of Day 1, the Big Bang), wherein the Creator separates this “light” from “darkness” (morning of Day 1, the expansion of the known universe).
Day 2 – The Creator separates water from water (evening of Day 2, molten magma of this primeval “Earth” produces surface waters and, morning of Day 2, the atmosphere sky develops above the budding waters).
Day 3 – The Creator gathers the surface water into “seas” (evening of Day 3), thus revealing the dry land, and the Creator creates diverse plant-life (morning of Day 3, anaerobic organisms that have developed photosynthesis abilities), thus oxygenating the skies.
Day 4 – With a visibly clear and habitable atmosphere, the Creator places the unique lights in the sky that will be used to mark seasons and times (evening of Day 4, thanks to freshwater green algae’s contribution of oxygen to the atmosphere, morning of Day 4, aerobic organisms begin to spread upon the dry land seeing the heavens above).
Day 5 – The Creator creates the fish and the uber-large flying insects above the water and land (evening of Day 5, biodiversity of organisms occurs within the oceans and in the skies), then the Creator creates the sea monsters, creatures that crawl upon land, and winged fowl (morning of Day 5, the dinosaurs explore the seas, land, and skies!).

Druze, Jews, and Kurds are the Indigenous brothers and sisters of the greater Levant!

Western documentation points in one direction. The longest lasting and most stable locally governed territories in the Levant were the mountain regions ruled by the Druze. This is not a community claim. It appears in British diplomatic letters from the nineteenth century, French Mandate archives from the early twentieth century, American missionary journals from the mid nineteenth century and travel accounts written by Europeans who observed the region without political interest.
The Druze emirate in Mount Lebanon lasted from 1516 to 1842, more than three centuries of continuous rule. This was not a small or isolated area. It extended through the Chouf, the Gharb, Wadi al Taym, parts of the Matn and the mountain belt overlooking the Mediterranean coast. European diplomatic correspondence describes this principality as a functioning political structure with a tax system, local courts, disciplined armed forces and a surprising openness to outside influence. Italian and French observers noted how Druze leaders welcomed European merchants, adopted practical innovations and maintained relations with Tuscany and France in a way that felt more Western than the surrounding Ottoman provinces.
In the south, the Druze Mountain in Syria maintained autonomy from the early nineteenth century until 1936. This region included the Hauran plateau, the Lajat basalt fields, Suwayda and the entire southern mountain chain, an area larger than several modern European states. French Mandate administrators repeatedly wrote that this region had the highest internal discipline in Syria and the strongest local cohesion. British visitors before World War I described it as a territory where order and justice held even when the surrounding plains suffered instability.
One of the most important historical facts, again reported by Western observers, is how minorities were treated under Druze authority. American missionaries in the 1850s wrote that during periods of unrest in the plains, Christian families fled into Druze villages because they trusted Druze protection more than imperial security. French priests reported that Maronite and Melkite Christians found refuge in Druze governed districts of Mount Lebanon in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Ottoman European observers noticed that small Shia groups, Bedouin tribes and dissidents often moved into Druze territory because they knew disputes would be settled quickly and without revenge. These records show a consistent pattern. Minorities were not merely tolerated. They felt safe enough to seek refuge in Druze areas when danger approached.
Western writers often remarked that Druze political behavior had a distinctly Western character. Samuel Lyde wrote that their system of internal discipline and collective responsibility resembled what he saw in European cantons. British envoy Colonel Churchill described Druze leaders as men who valued contracts, respected agreements and maintained order through councils and mediation rather than arbitrary force. French Mandate reports stated that Druze administration relied on clear hierarchies, local councils and a sense of civic obligation rare in the region at the time. These comments came from outsiders comparing Druze governance to European models they understood, which makes the observations even more striking.
It is also important to clarify that the Druze never created instability under outside governments. Wherever they lived under the Ottomans, under the French or under the State of Israel, they became loyal and disciplined citizens, often serving in the military, police and public institutions. The dilemma is not that the Druze create conflict. The dilemma is that the only documented model of long term local stability in the Levant was the one they produced themselves.
This leads to an overlooked truth in international diplomacy. If President Trump or any American policymaker truly wants a realistic path to Middle Eastern stability, they must study the one indigenous governance model that actually worked. Druze self rule created order, protected minorities, encouraged openness to the outside world and maintained security over large territories for centuries. No other local system in the Levant shows a comparable record.
There is one final fact that connects the past to the present. The administrative system used throughout the Western world today, the idea of appointing trustworthy judges over groups of varying size, delegating authority in layers and reserving only the hardest cases for the highest authority, first appears in the Book of Exodus, chapter eighteen. According to the text, around the thirteenth to twelfth century BCE in the Sinai wilderness, Jethro advised Moses to build a structured judicial system. Western scholars of public administration and legal history often refer to this as the Jethro model. It is one of the earliest recorded frameworks for modern administrative order.
Jethro is the ancestral figure revered as the spiritual father of the Druze. In a way grounded in history, the world already follows the administrative wisdom of the man at the foundation of Druze identity. The only remaining question is whether modern policymakers will recognize that the one tradition that produced stability in the Levant is connected to the same wisdom that shaped the foundations of Western governance.”

What is a “soul”? Do Turtle Island Indigenous peoples have a soul? We South Asian Indigenous peoples have a soul, but it’s not ours to keep! How is Simon Cowell’s act an expression of Jewish values/heritage? First, the halacha on permitted and forbidden foods AND the permitted way to slaughter animals does NOT apply to non-Jews. Secondly, if the abuse of the dogs by a “meat farm” is the concern, then his act to save the dogs finds halachic relevance.
The category of pikuach nefesh, “saving lives”, is only halachically relevant to human beings in Jewish lifeways. If Simon Cowell had bought the dogs from an abusive meat farm and gave the dogs to a “free-range” meat farm, he would have fulfilled, in just this, a Jewish act of tikun olam.
Don’t misunderstand, for we are glad that Simon Cowell took the extra mitzvah of saving these dogs from becoming a human meal. But, remember, dogs inherently are predators, and THIS is the ONLY reason why they are forbidden for Jewish dietary consumption.
This is what Jewish halacha, our Jewish people’s sacred indigenous lifeway, has to say about dogs:
Bava Kama 79b – It is forbidden to own a dog (a predator animal). The only exception is if the dog is securely chained up. Why? So that the dog cannot cause physical damage, nor frighten anyone with its bark.
Bava Kama 80a – It is permitted to raise dogs to eliminate rodents. But, Rashi conditions this to only small dogs or hunting dogs that do no harm, by bite or bark.
Bava Kama 83a – One who raises a dog (a predatory animal) is considered the same as one who raises a pig (a forbidden animal), and that doing so brings special curses.
Nizkei Mammon 5:9 – It is forbidden to own any dog, unless it is secured by chains. If the dog is successfully domesticated and well-behaved, it is permitted to keep such a dog without concern (see Tur, Choshen Mishpat 409; Hagahos Maimoni, Rotze’ach 11:3; Semag, Aseh 66).
Bava Kama 7:45 – Only dogs that neither bite nor bark are excluded from the prohibited category.
Sheilas Yaavetz 17 – The only permitted reason to own and keep dogs is for the purposes of protection and/or for an economic reason. Beyond this, one should refrain from having dogs (an inherent predator) as pets. Why? For this is the behavior of non-Jews and, doing the same, reflects negatively on Jews.
Choshen Mishpat 409:3 – Minhag, the common custom of a land, has a factor on halacha in dog ownership. Before having a predator as a domesticated pet, see what the local custom of the land is on pets. It is permitted to keep a non-dangerous dog at home, because this is – for some – recommended for reasons of therapy, for the benefit of children, and so forth.

The Egyptians, as an endogenous people, were born through the intermixing of pre-Egyptian Northeast African Naqada people with Levantine/Mesopotamian Semitic people who settled along the Nile (rather than conquered it, like the later Europeans and Arabs did to South Western Asia and North Africa). Meaning, like South Asian peoples, Egyptians were neither “white” (Aegean) nor “black” (Nubian) – by USA invented racial categories. Even the genome of a 4,500 year old Egyptian man confirms what both archaeology and Egyptian/Jewish ancestral writings make very clear.
As one of the peoples of Canaan (the very last surviving still intact Canaan indigenous people), Jews – whose endogenous development occurred in Canaan amongst the Moab nation (the southern half of post-WW1 colonial Jordan today) – our Canaanite culture was deeply influenced by both Egyptian culture and Mesopotamian culture. All the regional empires of the ancient Near East – Egypt, Assyria, and Babylon – sought control over the indigenous nations of Canaan in the Levant. Hence, the origin stories of the Jews that are derived from lived history.
Abraham and family living in the Mesopotamian diaspora before returning to Canaan. Joseph living in the Egyptian diaspora. Noah’s ark adventure that comes from Sumer Mesopotamia that ended the curse of drought upon the Levant, the garden of Eden. Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed by a fire from the skies in Moab. Egypt’s 400+ year enslavement (occupation) of Canaan. Assyria’s violent forced assimilation of most of the Canaan tribes of Israel into Assyrians culturally, linguistically, and religiously (hence our Torah scroll lament). Babylon’s ethnic cleansing of many Jews from the Canaan land of Judah-Israel into the Mesopotamian diaspora, and their later return to Canaan (most, not all Jews). And so forth!
Canaan peoples in general, like the Jews specifically, recognized Egyptians and Mesopotamians as semitic peoples with similar looks and cultures. As well, both Egyptian and Jewish peoples wrote about an African Nubian people down South of Egypt. This is why our Jewish people’s origin story in Torah has Miriam temporarily affected by leprosy by the Creator god for having questioned Moses in choosing an Ethiopian woman as a second wife. “The man, whose remains were found buried in a sealed clay pot in Nuwayrat, a village south of Cairo, lived sometime between 4,500 and 4,800 years ago, which makes his DNA the oldest ancient Egyptian sample yet extracted. The researchers concluded that 80% of his genetic material came from ancient people in North Africa while 20% traced back to people in West Asia and the Mesopotamia region.
Researchers have long questioned whether the Egyptians from the beginnings of the Dynastic civilization were indigenous North Africans or Levantine. The study provides a glimpse into a crucial time and place for which there haven’t been samples before, according to Losif Lazaridis, a research associate in the department of human evolutionary biology at Harvard University.
“What this sample does tell us is that at such an early date there were people in Egypt that were mostly North African in ancestry, but with some contribution of ancestry from Mesopotamia,” Lazaridis said. “This makes perfect sense geographically.”
Dental anthropologist and study coauthor Joel Irish also took forensic measurements of the man’s teeth and cranium, which matched best with a Western Asian individual. Irish is a professor in the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University.
By studying the man’s skeleton, the team was able to determine that he was just over 5 feet tall and between 44 and 64 years old, likely closer to the end of that range — “which is incredibly old for that time period, probably like 80s would be today,” Irish said.

I’ve played table tennis since I was a kid, on and off, and I’ve always loved it. It’s not just a sport of technique, reflexes, and good footwork there’s a mental layer, too.
You need a calm head, a bit of creativity, and the ability to improvise under pressure. A tight match can turn on a single clever idea or a well-timed tactical shift.
And just like driving, your playing style says a lot about your personality.
Some people are natural attackers; they take charge of the rallies and dictate the pace.
Others are defensive players -they stand back, chop the ball, return spin with more spin, and try to frustrate the attacker until he loses momentum and sends the ball into the net or into orbit.
I’m an attacking player. I like to control the point. Because the moment you lose initiative in table tennis, you’re at the “mercy” of the other guy, and defense becomes a long, exhausting job. You run more, you react more, and your only strategy is to survive until the attacker makes a mistake. If he doesn’t, you’re finished.
And the rules are straightforward: make a mistake, hit the ball long or into the net, and the point goes to your opponent – no second chances, no do-overs.
Table tennis is a fair game.
Israel advocacy is not.
This is the real comparison I’m trying to make.
When it comes to Israel, the playing field is completely tilted. You’re not dealing with one opponent -you’re dealing with a global chorus: two billion Muslims, a loud Western far-left, opportunistic politicians, UN blocs run by autocracies, and a media ecosystem deeply influenced by Qatar and other regional interests.
And in this “game,” the rules don’t apply.
You refute a blood libel? It doesn’t matter.
They repeat it as if you said nothing.
The point doesn’t go to you – because they simply refuse to acknowledge that the rally ended. They shrug off facts, escalate the accusations, or switch to a new lie before the old one even cools.
It’s like playing a match where you return every smash, every spin ball, every dirty trick – and the referee still gives every point to the other side.
In this environment, a purely defensive style is hopeless.
You cannot “explain” your way out of a hate-movement that isn’t listening.
You cannot win with endless clarifications, fact-checks, and moral contortions – because the opposition isn’t driven by logic, but by emotion, ideology, and, frankly, a fashionable kind of hatred.
So I’ve come to a conclusion:
If you stay in the defensive role, you lose by definition.
It’s a permanent disadvantage.
Israel’s advocates need to switch to an offensive approach – not in aggression, but in framing.
We need to say plainly what this so-called “anti-Zionist movement” actually is: a project built on the idea that Israel should not exist at all, rooted in an Islamist worldview that rejects the presence of any non-Muslim minority in its vicinity.
This isn’t a liberation movement.
It’s not “resistance”.
It’s eliminationism, wrapped in progressive rhetoric for Western audiences.
And unless we make that the center of the argument – unless we attack the premise, expose the ideology, and push back against the framing – we will always remain stuck in that defensive crouch, reacting to lies instead of calling them what they are.
Defense alone cannot win this match.
Not when the rules themselves are rigged.”
