Every Jewish fighter for Israel throughout our 3,800 year history upon our Canaan land of Judea and Samaria were Zionists!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indigenous resistance is preserving our ancestral traditions and laws! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf3f\ud83c\udf4b Sukkot \ud83c\udf4b\ud83c\udf3f arrives with the full moon! At sundown, we Jews live in temporary traveling shelters like our ancestors did. And through the eight days of this festival of shelters, we Jews wave the Four Species in the Six Directions \u2013 East, West, North, South, Skies above, and Land below. Outside of Yom Kippur, this traveling festival is the Jewish people\u2019s favorite sacred ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the \ud83c\udf3f\ud83c\udf4b Sukkot \ud83c\udf4b\ud83c\udf3f festival, which is akin to a \u201cpowwow\u201d gathering on the continent of Michilimackinac (Colonial \u201cAmerica\u201d), is to remember and do as our ancestors have done, by celebrating the harvests and supplicating the One who \u201ccontrols the weather\u201d for a good rain during the next harvest season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This seven days plus one festival originally served to intentionally draw the individual Jewish communities across Judea and Samaria and those in regional diasporas together for the ceremony of sanctifying the \ud83d\udd4d Beit ha\u2019Mikdash \ud83d\udd4d \u2013 the House of Y-HWH, which is the sanctuary upon the Jewish Temple Mount that was used to make offerings to our god-King of the Land of Israel \u2013 in a national dedication rite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with seven days of living in temporary traveling shelters and waving vigorously the \ud83c\udf3f\ud83c\udf4b lulav and etrog \ud83c\udf4b\ud83c\udf3f in the six directions \u2013 East, West, North, South, Sky, and Land \u2013 we Jews dance communally around the sanctuary or, if in a diaspora land, around the synagogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
